Her Story
HerStory in the Making
Trici Noel Harris Coleman is a founder, author, and systems builder dedicated to helping mothers build sustainable business ventures and generational wealth without sacrificing their children’s well-being, their own health, or the peace within their homes and minds. Her work is rooted in a simple truth: women should not have to perform, overexpose, or sacrifice themselves to create stability and freedom for their families.
As a single mother of two sons, Trici spent years navigating demanding leadership roles while running a high-functioning household often within systems that rewarded overextension and undervalued care, presence, and emotional labor. Like many women, she was never lazy; she was overloaded inside structures never designed for nurturers, mothers, or women leading from the inside out. These systems also encouraged women to shrink, conform, or surrender authorship of their own stories, benefiting others while slowly eroding their sense of self.

Her professional experience spans healthcare management, workforce development, operations, and community leadership. She has managed HR, payroll, compliance, and training for a home healthcare agency working directly with the Department of Aging and Medicare clients; built and operated a virtual call center with full onboarding, contractor recruitment, payroll, and training systems; and led a company-wide volunteer initiative at a call center while serving on multiple Employee Resource Groups for underrepresented communities.

Trici is ICF Coaching certified and holds additional certifications in financial literacy, nutrition, and business strategy. She has coached hundreds of adults in life and career development, facilitated social-emotional learning workshops for workforce development nonprofits for many years, served on the board of two women shelters, and led vision and wellness workshops for women and families.

Her work was shaped not only by professional leadership, but by lived experience, burnout, exploitation, and the absence of authentic, sustainable support. She came to recognize that both corporate and nonprofit environments, though different in appearance, were built on the same foundation: models that often value productivity and perception over humanity and self-sacrifice over well-being while keeping them away from the things that mattered most. Home and Family. These systems left little room for mothers balancing boardrooms and living rooms while tending to their own healing and their children’s development.

Through founding Step Up to the Plate of L.I.F.E., Trici launched an outreach ministry for single mothers at Ubuntu Community Center the very shelter where she once lived with her 4-year-old son, now 19, proof of her transforming survival into structure and lived experience into practical tools.

Trici is also the author of three books and a comprehensive home guide that introduced and coined the Four Course Meal of Life™ Theory, a framework for holistic, intentional living:
-
Retrain Your Subconscious Mind to Achieve Your Goals (21 Days of Reprogramming)
-
Step Up to the Plate of L.I.F.E. (Living in Full Excellence)
-
Wait on Purpose: The Power of Abstinence
-
From Chaos to Clarity, a 200-page home guide for mothers
-
Dear Little Me: A healing and nostalgic coloring book for women

Today, her work centers on recalibration, not hustle. She will help women replace burnout-driven productivity with aligned systems that support wealth-building, wellness, and long-term stability without requiring them to adopt someone else’s narrative, sacrifice their values, or become prey to exploitative expectations.

HerStory & Legacy Ventures was born not simply as a business, but as a liberation blueprint. A space where women especially mothers reclaim time, peace, and power by building ownership instead of dependency. Where they shift from employees to CEOs of their own lives. Where wellness, wealth, and womanhood are no longer separate lanes, but one aligned journey.

“This mission is not just to help women maintain successful ventures, but to protect their peace and strengthen the legacies being built at home. Our children are watching how we lead, and it matters that they see lives and systems that do more than sustain us they free us. This is not a dream. This is destiny, guided by goals, fueled by faith and vision and anchored in plans. HerStory & Legacy Ventures is where purpose meets preparation, and women rise into the power they were always meant to walk in”
